How can I stop my hydraulic disc brakes from squeaking?

Is your bicycle new?  I usually share this video with customers who recently bought their bicycles with disc brakes. It shows the bed-in process to stop the squeaking noise on braking.

However, if you do not have a problem with your disc brake before, it is likely that the rotors and disc pads have been contaminated. It happens when you accidentally sprayed lubricant on the rotors or you may have ridden over puddles of water that may have oily residue in them. Watch this video to learn what other issues you maybe facing and how you can eradicate them.

Watch this if you really need to remove the disc pads and clean up the area where they are inserted.
